View Full Version : The big FI review thread!
Thought it would be a good idea to make a thread where people could post reviews of different FI systems. (e.g. ESS TS system, HPF turbo systems etc.)
No custom projects, only complete kits as a buyers guide for all the people not FI'd yet! :)

Mach 330 what kind of power range are you looking for and what kind of limits of the funds you have for a kit. You don't have to be specific about the money but i have researched everything under the sun for performance. And nothing is availible for my car currently so i am contemplating on a custom kit.

ideally, i would like to be able to keep up with a stock e46 m3 or just a tad fast would be good. i'm also looking for reliability as I will probably keep my car for another 2-3 yrs until I can afford the e90 m3 or m5. this car is also my daily driver. anywhere in the range of $5K-8K should be good.

AA or ESS has the kit that would run with a stock M3, considering the torgue it should have a faster take off too.
I have not seen anyone videos in here with a supercharged 330i against a Stock M3. since you have the funds to get a good kit. You could get just about any of the kits available. Technik, AA, ESS, VF. But I personally like the TS style kit but that may not be the best kit for your driving habits. If you go with a Centri type kit you may consider a Small shot of Nitrous to assist with the 3500 full boost issue. That will help with the slight lag in boost. This just my opinion besides what do i know. LOL

has anyone experience problems as far as daily maintenance? i would really hate it if i have to take my car to the shop to get it fix all the time. i might as well just get the 335i and not worry about the possible problems. i'm still waiting for a kit to be carb approved.
