Currently I have on my 323i:

Dinan CAI
Dinan Exhaust
Dinan Tranny + Engine software
Schrick Camshafts
UUC pullies

soon to buy:

technik headers

Are there aftermarket throttle bodies, like Dinan, available for the 323i? And if so, would it give me any performance gains?

Also, with all my mods ... how much power should I be expected to be putting down to the wheels? Not into street racing at all, but in comparison with a 330 ... it should be neck-to-neck, right?

And alas, are there any performance mods _BESIDES FI_ that I can do in addition to what I currently have?

TIA

Also, I know there's a guy on the forum here who has swapped an E36 M3 engine into his E46 ... I'm considering this over s/cing my current engine.

I mean, let's say I drop a euro specification E36 M3 engine and then turbo / s/c it ... I'd be putting down some serious power.

I'm going to be keeping this car forever --- it'll be in my car collection. So, everything I do, mod-wise, will be a priceless investment.

If you can afford the s52 swap, go for it. I'm not sure how you'd go about engine management though...

A throttle body won't really help you much, the headers will. With your mods you may be almost up to a stock 330, but you won't have as much torque.
