for those who wonder, took the car to the dyno today. Pulled 249.8whp @ 6700 rpm. thats SAE hp, on a dynojet, in 4th gear. Pulled 248whp in 3rd gear, same rpm. only other mod i have is a magnaflow muffler. everything else is stock. I'll hook the scanner up sometime and scan the sheets if anyone is interrested.

Stock 328s were rated at what? 192 Hp at the crank?
250 rwhp works out to 290 at the crank....that's a pretty nice gain.
What was your peak torque?

Were you expecting more? I recalled reading a post on here where VF advertised 269 rwhp for a 328. :dunno:
I would be happy if I get the same amount of gain for my ESS VT2 setup. I need to get my car dyno one of these day.

nice crovax, that is a great improvement over stock power
are you planning to put some more mods on your 328??
keep representing 328's :woot:
p.d. I can't wait to make my tranny swap and drop a supercharger :D

ehh, I wasn't expecting anything higher than that, just they advertised 269whp, would be nice if i was making that kind of power. I'm not saying it's VF's fault, my car has 117k miles on it, butyou know, we all want more power. I ordered headers, that should help a whole lot along with something other than the stock exhaust. Eventually I'll do cams, and if VF doesn't come up with their stage two within the first half of 07, I'll probably end up making my own stage two.

yeah, if i ever do end up going and adding an intercooler myself, I'll take it down to AA and have them make custom software for it :shhh: but I'll get it dyno'd everytime I add something new to it. If anyone lives in so Fla (west palm area) and wants to come watch the dyno, ill shoot an e-mail to you next time I get something done.

yeah, I've seen that graph before. Either that car is a ringer, or my car is slow and has problems (probably a little of both). Wish I made the 20 extra hp that your car is making. VF says they've dynoed enough 328's to know what it should make, I'd love to see some dynos other than that one, just to see how abnormally low my numbers really are.
and jeremy, I think i'm going to try to make it on the atlanta trip with you guys. I dont know if ill drive the car all the way from so fla to atlanta, but I'll at least get it to gville and carpool with ken the rest of the way.

Nick, you should be able to lean that up a bit, especially in the midrange, and get more out of it. Especially at such low boost.
