Anyone have a DIY for removal of the intake manifold.
Also if you have done this before, how long did it take you to remove and install new manifold.
Any tips and help would be fine.
Thanks all

It's mostly the wiring that's a pain. There are lots of wires connected to...or run on top of the manifold. Marvelphx posted a DIY for the ESS twinscrew on this forum that details the intake removal.
It's an hour to take off carefully, and probably the same to put back on. You don't need a new gasket for it, as it's a rubber O-ring type that's pressed into the mating surface of the manifold runners.

The first time takes about an hour as stated, after that, once you know what you're doing, you can get it off in 20 minutes, lol.

I was mainly concern with removing the gasket and ripping one. I will take another look at the diy my todd.

just wanted to say thanks for your information in your earlier post.
Although i have done this many times on my other cars for some reason i hesitate on this one. Maybe because it is new to me, i don't really know. I am old school and my wife have dreaded the moment me getting back into racing. Although I am a long ways off from being finished i already feel overwhelmed.
I will keep everyone update on my progress but i probably will not start until middle of next week or so. Still waiting on other product to arrive on Tuesday.
Thanks for the help and wish me luck.
