Well, I made the horrible mistake of trying to install my new toy in the parking lot of my apartment complex, in the cold, in the dark. I won't do it again. Attached is a pic of my thumb and my Dinan throttle body (from Bim Growl). Nice mod. Not terribly difficult to install, just frustrating if you can't see what you're looking for. One bolt fell into the depths of my engine bay, but I'll pick another one up on the way home.
Seemingly, this was a nice mod. I feel like I picked up a little power from it.
Question 1 - Do I need to disconnect the battery after this?
Question 2 - Has anyone done an ITB setup on the 330, similar to the M3?
Thanks!

ive never heard of anyone modifying the intake manifold to use individual throttle bodies on the m54, it would take a whole lot of work and if im not mistaken completely new software. i would say stick with your dinan and upgrade to the M when you get a chance
good job DIYin it!
(if it wasnt clear in the above the amount of work it would take would not be even close to worth it IMO if i understand how it works)

Thanks! I don't let anyone touch my cars.... Plus, if you don't get out and do it yourself, you never learn.

Sooo, should I disconnect the battery for this? I know some cars require that after modding.

Just drive the car for a few days and the ecu should adjust and run smoother. If you are getting a sel then the ecu may not be able to adjust automatically after driving around for a few days.

i always DC my batt when modding, but if its already in and you didnt, dont worry about it the ecu will learn how to make the most out of the new conditions
