EP Malaysia/Racecraft 15psi supercharged!

Well Racecraft owner and EP Member Shedden Ee decided that he wants his car to be faster than mine and went absolutely nuts!!!

Unlike in the USA, in Asia/Europe they make a 320i E46, that's what Shedden is driving, I think in stock form it makes under 150 engine hp. They also happen to NOT make a supercharger kit for the 320, so with an ASA blower meant for a 325, Shedden decided to make a monster.

Custom almost everthing he pushed 1.05 bar or 15psi to make his car blow my car out the water!

All software was custom done and assisted with a HKS Def-con

The white car isn't mine, it's Shedden's. My car is in my sig, the red one
Shedden's front splitter is a Racecraft CF splitter, kind of a cross between the Strassentech and AC-S splitters. Also I'm pretty sure Shedden is using an intercooler that isn't the ASA kitted one.

Just checked Vorsteiner's website, how long ago did they have that lip?
Racecraft has had them for over a year if not 2 years or more.

I also checked AA-Tuning and Technik, and Shedden's custom s/c makes about equal hp and more torque than both on 325s, while Shedden's car is a 320.

One of the sickest widebody sedan out there and wow, I just love his ride more with sick interior. I thought he sold his ride too.... but im glad he didn't. Thanks for sharing bro.

According to the attached dyno graph it only put down 253whp and an assload of torque 29x something. Those are pretty decent number for a little 2.2 liter motor, but at 15 psi, a built motor, and custom tuning I would have expected to see a little more whp than that. It seems that 15psi is over the superchargers efficiency range... Very cool car though.

Depends on model year. Mine is 168hp. Any details on the engine custom work? I'd like to know what he did, and how much stock engine internals he's using. Is this a fully built motor?

lemme think.....Stock internals, only thing he changed was the torque convertor and fuel injectors. It's all custom programmed software using the Def-Con. The supercharger kit was all custom, he just had the blower to begin with.

Cool. There are mutiple kits in Europe for the 2.2L, but not much in North America since they don't sell it in the USA, only Canada. Sucks! Just try finding someone comfortable with installing a blower kit on a 320i in Canada. Rare humans. Plus, the cost is pretty severe. I bought a 320i for a reason: I'm POOR. :D
