i am experiencing three problems with my infinitas sk1

1. my boost guage seems to detect vac but only runs up to 0psi. im assuming i must have a leak but it seems strange that it seems to read vac fine

2. periodically the car seems to stall out, blink CEL, EML, and BRAKE (i cant figure out why it would give me a brake light, and i dont know what EML is). i have to restart the car. im assuming this is what is known as Limp Mode. does this mean the car is running dangerous and trying to protect itself?

3. AFR guage seems to be erratic. ad idle its 14.6 but it is hard to read, and is extremely delayed, im assuming that this is because of the long line between intake to the exhaust. but sometimes the guage reads flat ten. sometimes three lines, and on full throttle i still seem to be at about 13.5 even tho i try to turn the asatronic rich.

trying not to blow up my car, if i cant get things to improve ill definitely send in for software, but the limp mode seems to be a problem with the installation and not the asatronic.

any help would be great, im sure the first thing ill need to do is get an obd2 tool tomorrow

Have you tried sending an email off to Technik? They may give you some tips to help you out, pretty friendly folks over there.

haha indeed yeah ive been on the phone with zolti about every day for the last two weeks. he has a lot of patience i just wanted to get some opinions on if it may just be the result of ASAtronic being a pile

car also sometimes at idle tried to save itself from stalling....which is annoying. i sure hope my power delivery returns to its prior smoothness or ill be forced to uninstall.

ill give zolti a call this week im just exhausted from the install itself, im not looking forward to ripping back into it just yet :) illpost up any findings.

i have a problem with the EML light.after a while the car didn't accelerate anymore.when the EML light is on the brake sensor and the DSC senor are on.that's normal(because the computer can control the car to stay on the road by accelerating one wheel and braking the will wich slips).anyway when EML light is on it means that a sensor(which is locating nearly the intake manifold)it's deffect.

it's a sensor for the acceleration module .

wow thank you for this information, where exactly is the sensor? i did some ripping apart of the stock intake plumbing but i didnt rip out any sensors.

would something else trip this eml light? for instance running too rich, which im hoping is the reason i was being punted into limp mode

You can always take it to autozone to have a free sel check whether then guessing at what is going on. That's only if it is drivable.
