Hey like the title says "Does the Business CD player have more power output than the Tape player "

Reason being is i just upgraded my interior in my 330ci and it had harmon Kardon front speakers, i have wired everything up etc and the sound quality does not seem to be the same ??

On the cards is a Business CD player to replace my tape Player - just wondering do these Business CD player have more Power output to the speakers ??

thanks, ben

Did your car have HK setup or have you added front HK speakers if so the rating of impedance for standard speaker is 4 ohm and HK 3 ohm

UK cars only come with oem amps for Hifi and HK not with standard audio setup...

There really is no difference in either tape or cd in power, as both are used with standard audio setup to power the speakers

The HK system in my car definitely started sounding a bit different after I swapped the old tape deck out in favor of a MY2006 business CD. I noticed that the fuse on the back of the business CD was 10A versus 7 or 7.5A for the business cassette, but I don't know if that's relevant at all.
