I am about to purchase 2 12 inch type R's and a 1500 watt amp off ikesound.com for $340 which seems like one hell of a deal, but i was wondering if anyone knew a cheaper website or if ikesound.com is a trustworty site?

ikesound.com is usually alright to work with. I would call to check availability beforehand, though. They have a habit of allowing you to buy things that are not in stock, with no notification that it wont ship, possibly ever. Their shipping is usually fairly slow, and keep in mind, they are NOT an Authorized Dealer - therefore, you have no warranty, unless ikesound.com will cover warranty for you. That said, I've purchased from them, and have never personally had a problem. Like any cheap/unauthorized internet retailer, you just need to be careful and make sure you leave a paper trail.

Ken hit the nail on the head with this one. Bought from them twice never use their website to buy (that is where the in-stock issues come from). Always call and place the order that way you can check availability before you pay. I

I just purchased a new US Amps amp from them. I had also heard of the stories of their lack of stock when you buy it. Got the amp from their Ebay store which had the amp for $40.00 less than than their website price. Ebay item stated they had 7 available, so I took a chance and went with it.

Ordered it last Wednesday evening and the amp is scheduled to be delivered UPS tomorrow. It's already in Houston (shipped from FLA). Overall, I have had a good experience with them and will probably buy from them again should the need arise. But, like the others have said. Keep a paper trail when dealing with any online company.
