19's and NYC = No No!!!

yeh, got a flat on my way back from manhattan just now. had the fun of changing it at 4 in the AM. i hit a pot hole before the holland tunnel and i guess i blew out the sidewall :clap: i managed to make it to a gas station on the NJ side of the tunnel and saw the rip in the sidewall.

suprisingly, i didn't know it was flat until i got out and checked for rim damage. those low profiles drive like run-flats.

i don't know how you nyc guys do it. there was this stretch on the FDR before the houston street where it was just deadly, i heard my tires rub a few times

o well....guess the 17's will be goin on for a little bit till i get new tire

yeah that sucks dude i ripped a nasty pothole last night at like 2:30 and some how i had no bubble in it surprisingly...if i had 19s forget about..this is an awakening for me to most definately stick with my 18s...its not worth it around here
