what other things can you think of to replace when building a motor...

hey guys...
just wondering if i should order anytthing else for my motor besides what i already did wich is PISTONS, RODS, CRANK, CAMS, MAIN STUD KIT, HEAD STUD KIT, AND GASKETS...
other things that come to my mind are
* upgraded oil pump???
* upgraded fuel pump???
* upgraded water pump???
* fuel preasure regulator???
anything else you guys could think of, that may be important???
if you are thinking port and polish, valves, valve springs, and valve retainers... i have decided to hold down on this for a while, and put the engine together with stock heads cuz this is another 4-5k...and i dont want to spend it all at once...LOL...

And don't prep the head gasket area with scothbrite as the cleaning pad...

If you are removing the heads why not send the head to a machcine shop and have them do the valves and port work. I am sure it want cost 4-5k because i just had it done. I believe for the head work it was 400 bucks extra although it could be more than that because it depends on your location and what you are replacing. If you have been moding for a while, you already know that when you mention BMW they start seeing dollars so don't let them cheat you. For a complete job on your head 1k should be tops. On my head they did not replace much although most of the parts are not expensive they could add up.
