I'm going to be upgrading my IceLink to the new DICE model and was just wondering where I can get this installed.
The shop that originally installed my IceLink didn't really know what they were doing and charged me for 4-5 hours of labor.
Any audio shops (preferably in Westchester) in the NY/NJ/CT area that you guys know of that are familiar with this installation?
Thanks!

+1, I installed the IceLink myself in my M3. The module ended up going bad so I bought a DICE replacement and switched it in minutes. It's really not hard at all.

I've seen the instructions and getting the wire to go from the trunk to the front of the car looks complicated to me.
Did you guys purchase a tool kit when you did your install or did you just use the tools you already had around the house?

tools I had around the house. I put mine in in about 30 minutes and love it.

No special tools required. Before I did the install I thought running the wire from the trunk to the cabin was going to a pain too but it was much more easier than I thought.

Thank you, brother!
I really appreciate that.
Tomorrow, a friend, of a friend of mine, is going to install my new steering wheel and he said he'll take a look at the instructions on how to install the DICE unit. He works part-time at a local BMW dealer here in Westchester.
If he's not able to install it, I will definitely give you a shout.
Thanks again!

The install is cake! If you know how to take off the inteiror carpet and pull the rear seats your set. Everything else is easy!
