Definitely a neat mod. But not worth the £5,000 pricetag at all. You could do it on your own for a few thousand dollars USD.

why does it shake so much? :dunno:

True, they do shake a little, but this is the first ever such kit, so was a prototype. Also if you look at the vid you can see it is quite windy.

Remember we are talking about a heavy piece of metal being hinged up into the air with only one small portion of one edge of the door actually being connected to the hinge, actuated by hydraulic pressue...some level of wobbling is inevitable, all aftermarket lambo style doors wobble :(

Thats really cool. I don't like how the car looks like it's trying to flap it's wings and fly away, but still.... COOL.

BTW Congrats on all your coverage in P-BMW guys! Great work. hit us up if Roy wants to do some wholesale with us again. It's been a while!

don't get me wrong. it is definitely an amazing mod and has to be one of the "coolest" i have ever seen. I just can't imagine anyone putting this on a non-show car

absolutely, agree with you.

In fairness this is a weekend car only for the owner. :)
