VF-Engineering only offers a Stage1 kit right now and it does not come with an intercooler, I live in Florida and it gets really hot here so an intercooler would help a lot! If I was to buy an intercooler and have my mechanic make the piping for it would it work with this kit or would the computer go crazy because the software is not programmed to work with an intercooler?

The VF system does not use an intercooler.... it uses a water cooler that is built into the intake manifold. It acts like a radiator would except it cools the intake air temps. It is better than a intercooler.
water to air is always beter.

The water cooler is only availible with the Stage2 which the site says is in development so for the time being...

You could do anything you want. But if you put an intercooler you will loose boost. IT would be more area for the air to travel and you would not boost as much. You would need to compensate with a 5-10 mm smaller pulley. But then you would neeed new software...
Why noy get the AA kit, you live close to them?

The AA kit for my car doesn't have an intercooler either... Only one is the Technik kit but it is the most expensive $6,295 versus $4-5k for the AA or VF kits.. But I will most likely end up going with AA, since they are so close.
