My car has about 73k. Is it worth spending the extra money for a 330 engine swap? How much does this cost?

Rebuild with 330 conversion. Build your motor for FI and go FI, looks like a very clean car from the pics.

If you have $$$ to spend on a better performance and wish so, go for it. There'll be no regret but addiction.

Here's my dilemma: If I'm going to drop about 6k for a kit, installation, and whatever other maintenance and new mods need to come from supercharging my car, why not just sell my current car, take the money I get from that after paying off the loan along with the 6k or so that I'd spend supercharging it and put a down payment on a newer car with better performance than a supercharged e46?

Thats what I was thinking but here is the life dilemma, there is always a better performance car. You can get what ever and tomorrow there will be a faster what ever. But if you like where you are looks wise and want more power tune it. Me I had a few E46's so I got a Z4 changed it up a bit. This fella seems to have a very nice 3er and I think If I was him keep the car he has, get it paid off it isn't than mod it. Moding a car that you owe money on is stupid you will always be strapped for cash, I know I will since I am not a wealthy guy. That's my 0.02 cent thank you.
