Hey, I was just wondering if anyone is running the AA C30 kit on the track and if so how is it holding up to the abuse? This kit is really tempting me because it seems like such a great deal but I am going to be tracking my car so I dont want to run into and major complications. I know that the addition of this kit would probably increase the maintenance needs of my car and I'm prepared to deal with that.
any input is appreciated.
Thanks!!

Well I dont know for sure but maybe this will help a little... its about the c38 though but if you read down on the first page AA says that the kit should not be tracked so make sure before you buy it.

I say if you are going FI might as well get the intercooler also!

The c30 kit is intercooled.
It should do fine on a track, intercooler or not though. What type or tracking will you be doing.
I know Garrett tracks the crap outta his car and it is problem free.
Deah7, i think they say that for the same reasons Chevy says they do not reccomend their trucks off road, and subaru doesnt recomend them on race courses or rally...

I wasnt stating anything wrong with AA or anything. Ill admit that I dont know much about FI and thats why I showed him another forum... BUT if AA would RECOMMEND the kit not be tracked and he wants to track it then why would he get that kit. That would just be stupid... but that was the C38 and if the C30 is intercooled im sure it would be good for him because AA is a great company;)

I'll be doing local autox's and some HPDE's.

Jeremy, I'm putting a C38 kit on my car right now, and I WILL be tracking HPDE's for SURE. However, I'm adding a water/alcohol system as well since there is no intercooler.
I'm sure you could also add a w/a system as well, although I don't know if it would need it since the c30 kit is intercooled.
There is no problem what so ever. It is a solid kit! I have been tracking mine for about one year and never had any problems at all. The only problem I had last track day was that I blew off one of my boost pipes. It took about 25 minutes to put it back and I was ready to hit the pavement again. It was a pretty sunny day with about 85 degrees temp. The funny thing is that there was a 335 that was having all kinds of overheating problems. I passed him several times as his car would be constantly in save mode and he would be cruising at 50mph towards the pitts.
