I have a 10'' w7 and a 500/1 amp. I want to get it installed on the stock headunit because i don't like any aftermarket ones. Can someone tell me what i need to buy to install this system. TIA

i have a 10w7 with a 1000/1 and i used the stock headunit.
Didnt even touch a thing up front, all my wiring, connections are in the trunk.
installer took a signal off of the OEM amp with a RCA converter.

As gTkidrokin330 said, all connections are in the trunk. Just need to tap the white wire for turn-on and two signal wires for amplifier inputs (the head unit output you need to tap are the twisted wires with brown/orange grounds). You don't need an adaptor for the 500/1 or the 1000/1, just get a set of RCA wires, cut it and solder the cut end on the head unit wires.

Yeah, like ca1242 says (I don't know that amp).
My sub install thread has details of the wiring you need to tap into (I used a LOC)

Definetely a self-install, the diagram looks a bit scary but you're only interested in 5 wires from the top left block. Once you're looking at the block itself it will look a lot easier! The block is fairly easy to get to as well, it was on the left side of the trunk (next to the cd changer/under the sat nav drive) and just unclips from the radio module.
