best place to put a portable navi in e46?

I have my passport 8500 on the windshield and I do not want a navi next to it where else can I put it :dunno:

I will also need to hardwire since the radar is already using the cigarette lighter :(

Hardwire the radar detector and mount it high on the windshield.
As far as the portable navi, would it fit in the sunglass holder or ashtray area? You could get a proclip mount and mount it next to the radio. You could also do the console.

Do u have it hardwired or to the cigarette lighter?

I do not want to hardwire the radar bc I wont have a mute button which I use alot, I would rather hard wire the GPS.

Not hardwired (yet). I need the cigarrette lighter to charge my cell phone, though, so I plan on doing it when I have the car apart for my audio install.
