HELP!!! the RATTLING!!

omg omg omgmy system is rattling my car soooooo much... like unbelievably much... sounds like something is rattling under the car or the rear bumper and side panels are rattling themselves... it sounds so nasty... how do i fix this?

what sub are you pushing? how many watts? can you tell us a little about the enclosure?

amp - kicker kx1200.1 ... class d 1200 watt amp... brand new bought last weekend

2 kicker 12" solobaric L5s about one year old... in an ordinary box...

4 gauge wiring... i only power the subs w/ 30% gain on my amp and they rattle my trunk a LOT...

sounds like something below the subs rattles...

Gotta Dynamat the inside of the trunk lid and if you really want to go all-out, the "roof" of the trunk inside the car.

Also, I find when I have a rattle, it's usually due to items in the map pockets in the front doors. Once the bass is pumpin', everything is a potential rattle...

dynamat is the only thing i can think of.....

easy, get foam, or dynamat and do your spare tire well. Thats whats making things rattle im sure.
