my compressor makes a strange sound,it's like a rubbing or breaking sound.

when i turn my steering wheel the sound gets even worse,it's like the compressor is going to fall apart.

the sound is 100% coming from the compressor, and i already changed last week the powersteering engine on the car.

could it be that the cluth of the compressor needs to be changed?

please help?can't drive the car this way, scared that something else also brakes:cry:

ya try to post a vid... I had a sound before that I thought was coming from inside the compressor but it was underneath.

If you just changed the power steering pump have you thought that you got the belt misaligned? The sound may be coming from the "area" of the compressor and still be a belt. Plus the fact you say the sound changes when you turn the wheel. Recheck your work.

here is a little movie of it,i turned the steeringwheel after a couple of seconds.a that time you hear the rattling sound and at the end i let the steeringwheel lose.

Cant tell much from the sound, but from the way that compressor is wobbling/moving, you need to check the mounting bracket or plate. That compressor should not be moving like it is about to jump out of the engine bay!

Phew! So it wasn't just my eyes that were seeing that movement. Unless there's something I don't understand about this SC setup, an accessory belt driven device like that thing should be rock solid.

I bet it's the belt alignment too.

And the TM-12 shouldn't be shaking at all.

alligment of the belt is perfect, also lookt at the wobling but the supercharger had only 1 screw that was lose so a fixed it.:)

wobling is less but the sound remains.

on a other forum they said that the supercharger clutch maybe needs to be replaced,i ordert one from G-power but they don't answer my email:banghead:

so i 'l need to order one near me,but the problem is ......
