It looks like you are selling your car. Which car will this supercharger be installed into?

IMO, if you have a manual transmission, get the 8PSI kit. The difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 kit is the boost pressure. Stage 1 has the 6.5PSI and the stage 2 has the 8PSI. Technik no longer uses the smaller ASA compressor. Instead, Technik only uses their custom fabricated larger intercooler.

If I recall correctly, the pulley was like $200-300 and the software is like $700-$800? I forget, it is best to ask Technik about it.

What blower is it? TM12? I'd rather have an ASA blower than a Rotrex, but thats just MHO.

I know that, I'm just saying in response to your "tempted to do the AA stage 1 c38" (which is a rotrex), I'd rather go with the ASA.

That is what I have been told. Maybe they got absorbed by another company. :dunno:

The TM12 is one of the compressor models that ASA produces. From what I have gathered, the higher the number the higher the CFM the compressor is able to produce and thus it changes the compressor maps. I should research that part more. :banghead: The company that uses the ASA compressor in their kits need to find that plateau in the compressor map to match the engine's characteristics to create a kick butt kit. :)
