The ESS CFR kit has completed it's development and durability testing (500,550 and 600HP versions, the CFR700 is still in R&D). We are currently manufacturing the first batch of 50 kits which is scheduled to be ready in 8-10 weeks depending on lead times from several sub-contractors. We are currently taking reservations on the first CFR batch. There are currently aprox 20 production spots open. The second batch of CFR kits are scheduled to be completed in January/February.

Also here are some pictures and a dyno of the CFR550 (pump gas, euro headers, no water/alcohol injection).
Here is a little track test video as well (3rd gear):

Thanks for the update :)
The torque is amazing with those ASA blowers..no wonder why Alpina is using them , will the strut bar fit with these kits ? and how much $$ :D .

Yes, the strutbar fits.
Price for the CFR kits will begin around $9K.

Is it just me or is the power steering reservior out of place? I remember it being a lot lower than right next to the oil filter, or is that something else?
how much boost r we talking about here??

Looks great! What are you guys considering "pump gas"? Cause our pump gas over here in cali is not even clsoe to the pump gas over there in Europe...
What size injectors are you guys using? It looks as if the car is leaning out up top.

You are correct, the PS reservoir is relocated in this kit.

With pump fuel we mean 93 octane US (98 Euro).
The injectors are 440cc (@3bar) in this kit, it is dialed in a little leaner above 7500RPM as the torque drops and we wanted to extract maximum top end HP. This dyno is of a R&D car, finished results may differ slightly in both AF tuning and hp.

Asbjorn ,
How many levels this kit will come with ? 500 , 550 ,600 and 700 ?
I know the 700 is with a built motor , what about the others ?

From what AJ told me recently, the CFR 600 and higher kits include internals to keep the engine happy, make all the power on good ole 91/93 pump fuel, and create a very reliable, durable kit for everything from everyday to track driving. A custom-made ESS/ASA compressor model noone else has is probable for the big kits. I have even heard of a possible "Motorsport" option to safely increase the redline to ~9k for even more fun!
:excited:
I know the ESS testing and reliability schedule is long and hard. These kits are meant to perform no matter what. Good things are worth waiting for. I can't wait to see one!
