Folks,
I am trying to find out what kinda rear differential are you folks running on yr SCed 330s.
Perhaps you could also share what charger you are running (eg TM12 or TM 15 etc) and what rear differential you are running on (eg 3.07 or 3.46 etc)
Your help will be most appreciated as I am trying to look for the best combo in terms of accelerating power and a decent power band to work with.
Thanks a hell lot folks...

Turner 3.07 with Turner Lsd. tm12 stage 2 , dyno'ed at 290 to the wheels on a mustang dyno (appx. 312 dynojet). works well. did not want to go to a higher ratio (wanted to keep the revs down) so mission accomplished.

i think a 3.15 or even if u can find one from the XI the 3.23 diff would be the best!

ESS TS2
3.15 Open Diff, 5 Speed
I had the 3.38 but first gear was useless, unless you were pointed straight, and even then it was a little tough. Highway RPM's were also a little bit to much for me with the 5 Speed.
3.15 is a great all around choice, LSD and a six speed you can go a bit higher.

I believe that with a 5-speed the ideal final drive would be 3.15 and with a 6-speed the ideal final drive would be 3.38. If the redline is raised to 7000RPM, then you are still able to hit 60mph in 2nd gear - which seems important to those people who love 0-60mph times. So it is somewhat the best of both worlds. Quick acceleration and decent low RPM cruising.

Nothing wrong with the 3.07. If you send it to Performance Gearing they can get put in any final drive gearing ratio for you. I remember Jim Blanton asking me if I wanted a 4.11 final drive ratio.
BTW, IIRC, Turner Motorsport uses the Performance Gearing LS. :)

I think with a 6 speed and 3.46, you'll hit 62 MPH at 7000 RPM in second gear.

I have a 3.38 LSD from Koala Motorsports (they use PG guts and build the diffs for TMS) in my ZHP with a TS2... they were great for the ASA Tm-12, but a bit short for the TS. Its very easy with the TS to bust em loose, good thing for the LSD. I would recommend stock or 3.15s for a TS, but LSD no matter what!
