325xi advice

I've got a 2004 325xi and I am interested in doing what (from what i've found) not alot of people have done. I want to supercharge/turbocharge it....depending on which is more efficient for the setup. I do know that it will cost a large amount of money...especially because i WONT be installing it...i dont know BMW's well enough. I understand that the awd bmw's have problems with delivering the power to all four tires. can anybody with the knowledge tell me more specifically what it would require, and also any shops anywhere in the madison/milwaukee/chicago area that could install it all? I know it's alot to ask but if anybody with the time/knowledge to reply could, that'd be awesome
