Used for only one week, while i awaited my RK3 illuminated knob. Bought this NEW for $80, would like to sell for $50 OBO. Here are some pics, sorry they are bad, had to borrow a friends digicam, as i am too poor to afford my own :D

YES there is a slight gap between the knob and the boot, that can be easily remedied by a little wire, bringing the boot up to the knob, but i didnt do this since i knew this was only going to be a temporary knob

is that thing a universal or BMW specific..I need a shift knob for my subaru...

This is a universal knob. it comes with small plastic shims to attach to any size shift linkage or whatever, but even the thinnest one was too wide for the BMW, so i used 2 layers of electrical tape, and it created quite the seal

it also uses three hidden screws to fasten on, that are tightened with supplied allen wrench, they are located under the bottom aluminum piece, that screws to the knob
