We had a great time. It was nice meeting Dan, Lee, and Mike and seeing Steve again. We will definitely do this again....possibly with stage 2 and more mods.

Wow! Thanks for the vid! Thumbs up to HPF and their new kit..Not a surprise that you were literally RUNNING away from the VF car even after a slight head start... Sick!!!

Nice video, the car sounds great.

The red car looks great as well but it looks pretty slow (compared to the stocker)?

stocker has a freak motor. ;)

j/k, total weight difference is almost 500lbs with the stereo equipment in the vert, it was progressively faster as the speeds got higher. the vert also has an aero disadvantage and the rev limiter is still at Stg1 7600rpm.

THanks for the vids guys, the HPF's car looks like its fun to drive...

The VF m3 vs the stock m3. When did the VF start pulling??

of the 3 pulls in the vid, I think all 3 were in 2nd gear between 35-50mph, I seem to remember a 3rd gear pull also not featured in the video where the coupe got a good jump.

The HPF car is fast w/ race fuel or was that on 100 oct ? I would still like to see a pump 91 oct race against a vf stage 2 coupe or AA stage 2 coupe..... 335 w/ proceed against that vert would have been good too. I think the 335 proceed car would have pulled against the vf vert or dead even.

Nice runs all. I wish I was there to represent.

That was 109 octane with 11psi, or is it more boost than that Jim? I agree Brian it's very fast with race fuel, but no offense to Steve, his car is beautiful but def limited with the weight, etc. let's see a more competitive comparo. Jim needs to run a Z06, M5/M6, 997TT, 996TT stage 2 or 3, STage 3+ S4, etc. I'd love to see those runs, as well as some on his 97 octane file, how much boost is run on that file?

I don't think these results will change anything regarding their thoughts about HPF's, it doesn't have to do with how fast the kit is, as Chris proved that with his car a while ago, it has to do with other reasons.

It has nothing to do with Jim either, as he's shown alot of class in the whole debacle.

Ohh...my...god....

that car is ridiculously fast! Makes me want to trade my 330, buy an ///m, and take out some loans just to get the HPF kit and all the goodies that have to go with it...

I can't imagine how fast that must be...why the hell are all the turbo guys away from the east coast?? I wish I had know Taza's car was at Active when I was in Jax...I probably would have paid for a ride in that thing...

Sorry Torres but i'd have to agree, you barely pulled on those stock m3's. On the first run with the HPF vs VF car only I was amazed how fast the HPF car pulled, but after seening the VF vs stock races, I realized the HPF car wasn't as fast as I first thought.

If it was Sherwin's 335I then maybe, as his is a beast compared to the others we've ran, any other procede 335I and Steve would pull.

You realyl think so? I say the procede's would walk from the way Steve pulled on the stockers.

Ok so i dont get it, the comparison was between a HPF turbo car on race gas settings, vs. a SC' pump gas convertible with heavy stereo mods and on top of it the convert started the races 2 gears higher then the turbo M3? And from what i read this is a VF stg 1 with the 7600 redline, that is a huge disadvantage.

Nice cars out there, definitely looks like a fun time.

Very interesting vids but but it would be nice to know all the facts. In the second vid it says 4th gear pull but then it sounds like M3 HPF shifts three more times .

Obviously the HPF is much faster than the other two, as it should be, but without knowing all the facts it's hard to decipher exactly what is going on.

Maybe Vik's, Jerry's or Nate's car would, if the HPF car was on the 97 file. If the AA cars were spraying than the HPF on the 109 file might be a good run. But I don't know Jim's car is moving well, regardless I'd love to see it.

Very true, I remember when you and I ran coming back from LACR, when you were AA Stage 3 still and I was N/A, you started in 4th gear and me in 2nd and we were actually even for a little bit, lmao.

Then when we both started in 3rd, you were compeletely gone, I mean like gone. Regardless the results of these races we knew beforehand, but it's cool to get a taste of how the HPF car performed, Jim def needs to run some faster cars though.

Yeah that VF car did not look hardly any fast than the stock with exhaust. One of the reasons I would never get a convertible!

I have asked some members to help locate some AA equiped M3's in AZ but no luck so far. If anyone knows any AA owners in AZ, please post!

My race fuel setting caps at 12psi. My pump gas++ setting is limited to 8psi.

For the next set of races, I plan on using the pump gas++ mode.

That against a stock weight (other than VF mods) VF Stage II e46 M3 Coupe would be the best race we could see BMW vs BMW with your car I believe. Now if you had the 425whp 91 tune to use then that would be the best comparo but you don't so the 97 tune is the next best thing.

Sure you can make it to LA...

Fill up with 109 octane in AZ, bring along two 5 gallon drums on 109oct along with some toluene. Once the your gas tank hits the half way mark, fill it up with 91oct, that will yield you 100oct... That just set you up for about 450 miles. Next fill up with another tank of 91/109 and your home freeeeeee

Hahaha, im just teasing you bro, get the meth in there and roll out here, we all would LOVE to meet you and your ride!
