what kind of paint should be used to repaint amplifiers ? i have 2 audison LRx line amps and they have the standard blue coating on them (from the factory). i know that the coating is heat-dissipative, and i want to chose a similar type of coating when repainting. i plan to take apart the amps, bring the original paint down to bare metal, prime it, then paint it.
what i want is a high gloss black finish. any suggestions on what kind of paint i should use ? i want to do this myself....but if i can't obtain the finish i want on my own, i'll take it to a body shop for painting instead.
