Questions about "BSW Stage I Audio Upgrade for BMW 3 Series / M3 Coupe 99-06 (E46)"

I am new here so kind regards!

I have a bmw 3series 330cd 2003 with harman kardon sound system.
I have seen this kit which it is a solution witout add a new amplifier, how can the original hk amplifier "move" all these speakers?

2xRainbow IQ 265.25 6.25"
2xBSW 2.5"
1xRainbow tweeter 1"

My understandig hk amplifier has "only" 300watt.

It is a good solution?
is the sound nice ?

could i install in front doors a rainbow slc 265 (cheaper) instead of iq line ?

well i just ordered my complete bsw setup and since i have not installed it yet i can only tell you that they are wokring on having an amp out in about 2 months to replace the facotry one :)

You'll notice a difference in sound quality.

You'll notice an even bigger difference if you replace the amp, too.

Really, I had the non-hk sound system, i was reading some articles about hk retrofit.I got the hk system for free because my brother changed his bmw :excited: and now i have, for the moment, the hk amplifier with the sub hk and midranges installed so tweeters and woofers are non hk ... :drool:

I hope without change hk amp i will notice an even bigger difference!
so changing the amp ... :excited:
