Flat out ignorance to sellers

I don't find it pleasing to see an honest seller that presents a sale on the Classifieds board only to be rediculed by members that make comments to degrade a sellers effort. If the price is too high, you don't like what you see, you think the part is ugly, you think the seller is ugly, you dont think anyone would want that item, you make comments off-topic from what is being sold. Im sure there are a few other ways to lower the value of the sellers potential sale.

I first don't understand how someone can be so rude. Secondly, this is not a new occurance on the Classifieds board and i don't see why this irrational behavior can not somehow be regulated w/ rules regarding buyer/seller interaction.

ex. 2- A few days ago. Someone was trying to sell a liscense plate frame and some newbie goes "nobody is going to buy that LOL!"


These acts should not be tolerated and everyone should have the right to conduct a sale with no outside influence of non interested parties. I think the moderators should set up some rules to limit this or try to get rid of the BS on the classifieds board all together.

Sorry to vent...but i've seen this happen over a dozen of times and i hardly look at used items for sale. I for one don't agree w/ message board rules/limits, but when it comes to screwing w/ someones business & cash is where i begin to draw the line

John I and others try our best and remove alot of garbage from the For Sale board.....nothing makes me more angry then seeing some ******* post in there and goof off or make fun of the seller and their product. I dont like when ANYONE does it. I'll be the first to say and go on with what Craig said, anyone causing trouble in anybody's For Sale thread and they will be warned towards there banishment.

I agree with you guys, but some posts seem to be well-meaning - i.e. "I'm not trying to mess with you but I really think you won't be able to sell your stuff at that price because of the following facts."

Maybe take that stuff to PM? Not sure what the solution should be...
