First of all, there should be a separation between 325 (4 cylinder) and 330 (6 cylinder) models. It's very hard to find information that is directly related to what I'm searching for. It also takes a lot of wasted time reading through every post.

When you move your cursor over a thread (and it is highlighted) you should be able to read the first few lines of the thread to see if it is worth clicking on. This can be seen on the "Club 3G" (3rd generation Eclipse) website and it is an excellent feature.

I think this is an excellent site but there are many things that should be done to make it even better. I don't own my 3G Eclipse any more but I always find myself going back to visit Club 3G because of it's well-organized setup.

I'm new to the Bimmer scene (I'm waiting for my ED 2003 330Ci)
so I"d like to see a list of "sponsors" or "vendors" with links to their websites so I can see what they have to offer for my car. It took me a week to learn about Dinan and AC Schnitzer! Now that's not fair.

I also think that post counters are a TERRIBLE IDEA. This will create too many "post *****s" who will try to have the record # of posts on this forum. This will lead to nothing but trouble IMHO.

Avatars are a cool idea but I'm not a computer geek who would ever know how to do such a thing.

That's just my .02.

You've got a lot of opinions for just joining, and there is a list of sponsors, post counts have been argued over and over for years here and some of the boards here have posts counting disabled. And the post preview hack is cool and has been asked about before.
A 325 is a 6 cylinder also. Ask questions here and you will be baraged by a million answers.

First of all welcome:thumbup:

second the 325 has a 6 cylinder motor too:banghead:

and then most ppl on here have cable/dsl and higher and it takes like one milisecond to open a page and if u dont like it hit BACK:thumbup:

also about sponsors there is a red line on top where it says sponser's if you would click that button you would see who sponsors this board:rolleyes:

Post count meters have been on for over a year now and never had a problem yet:thumbup:
the ppl with high post counts like the moderators are on this board alot

Aviators are only for sponsors and Moderators/admin only:thumbup:

but they are all good idea's:thumbup:

But thats why its a forum and its made to ask question's:thumbup:

PPL that have been here see the same question prob 1000000x times already:thumbup:

Just my 2 cents:D

Welcome, we've been doing what we do here for almost 3 years now. While your idea's and suggestions are certainly welcome I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for things to change much if it all.

I guess I do have a lot of opinions but I still like this site alot. I wasn't "knocking" this site- I'm usually on here or bimmerfest.

For some reason I always thought the new 325 was only a four cylinder. Silly me.

I think the Moderators do an excellent job here and I hope to learn a lot more about my new car.

Happy holidays.

in my opinion this board is the most organized out of all bmw boards.. including dtm roadfly bimmerfest

post count only goes up in u post in general, so therefore post whoring is eliminated. ive been her for maybe a year now and i think their system is fine.

I like the system too. I made my original post after I've checked out this site for only about a week.

I was just mentioning some ideas for improvements. I was afraid there'd be a lot of post-whoring but I haven't it seen it happen. This is one of 3 sites I like to check on a regular basis.

Just my .02.

Cheers.
