View Full Version : One Type 44 Wheel.. $25

I have a single Type 44 wheel for sale. It has a small crack on the lip. :bawling: I am not sure how it got there, as I didn't hit any potholes. Found it while changing tires and I have a fifth wheel so using that instead and selling this.

Selling for $25, sound reasonable? I think it costs $80-$150 to fix depending on where you live. (?)

unfortunately because of the cost involved in the weld and repair of it i dont think many will want it even for the pennies you are pretty much giving it away for. i say try ebay if you have the time.

if the lip is cracked, most legit places won't even fix it. i know, because of a pothole i cracked 2 of my wheels, right along the lip. try a junkyard or something.

That's not true, a good wheel place can fix it easily. Rimpro / Rim and Wheel works will fix it in the area.

Dunno.., Probably anywhere from $15-$25 since it's going cross country. I would have to pack and weigh it.
