The LOADED E46 M3 CSL has done it. As a part of our extensive durability testing, we have run over 40k track miles on this supercharged M3 without any problems. It recent surpassed the street production record for a lap at Nordschleife on the world famous Nürburgring.

My first time over here at E46 fanatics. I want to say congrads to the crew at ESS. This is more than incredible, but that is what I expected. Great going Asbjorn, Hans and the rest.

Nürburgring Nordschleife:

The Nürburgring Nordschleife is considered to be the most challenging track in the world. The track spans over 20.8 km and has got almost all types of corners, extremely fast and very slow. Legendary F1-driver Jackie Stewart invented the famous nickname for the track - The Green Hell. Until 1976 F1-races were held at the track. The absolute lap record around the track is 6:11.13 was set by Stefan Bellof in a Porsche 956 back in 1983. During scheduled times of almost the entire year the track is open for the public where you can take your own car around the track.

Largest decent: 17%

AMAZING Video! Even more fun to watch than the new Skyline GTR vid, but faster than the GT2 vid. Kudos to ESS, the Loaded team, and Richard!

I wonder how fast he would have been if he didn't have to get around those three other cars. Another second maybe? Will they try again on an open track?

Is it just me or could that have been done faster if there was no cars in the way? Also I read somewhere that the car topped out on the main straight, what exactly is the top speed because as far as I know the car has pretty short gears.
