Central Florida Turbo dynoed it today...Pretty happy. I just bought the car and wanted to be sure all was in order, A/F, etc. According to CFT, the car was tuned a bit on the conservative side...I am good with that...Better safe than sorry. I was told there would be more if it was leaned a bit.
They did not have the rpm's hooked up...The chart is off a bit. But they did take it to the limiter.

I get confused (newbie here) with the stage I / II / Gen I, etc.!
Here are the specs from AA:
525 HP - Gen 3 Level II Factory is 344 HP
What could you do with 525 ponies under your E46 M3 hood?
Active Autowerke can give you all of this for your M3 in a Big Brown BOX, that even you could possibly install and have the assurance of a proven system that is reliable and strong without any concerns. So let Active Autowerke provide the system and technology while you provide the possibilities.
Active Autowerke is proud to introduce an upgraded kit for the BMW E46 M3 Supercharger.
Our Level II is just as reliable and refined as our standard kit, but provides more power suited for a more aggressive enthusiast. The increase in power output is achieved by using a smaller 70 mm pulley (Level I uses 75 mm) and slightly more aggressive software.
For added safety, an Active Autowerke custom Water Injection kit must be used as a precaution against detonation or knocking. In addition, the BMW factory exhaust system is not compatible with the increased power provided by this kit. High Performance Headers along with a high flow exhaust must be used to allow for a smoother and less restrictive flow of exhaust gases.
BMW E46 M3 Supercharger Kit Components: Level II
All items listed for Level I
Active Autowerke Water Alcohol injection Kit
70 mm Pulley
Larger Fuel Injectors
Software Upgrade
*Free Flowing Headers are suggested to accomodate the increased power output.

Nice numbers..especially since its on a mustang dyno too. These larger Trim blowers are putting down better power, what does your AFR look like?

Dont mean to high jack your thread..Your 431whp is really low for a dynojet. I hit 500+whp on a Dyno Jet. And here is my dyno on pump gas on a dynodynamics which reads much lower...

It was run on 93 pump gas...Wonder if it would do more on race fuel? I am not sure what it was tuned on...

Wow, those are extremely high numbers for a Mustang Dyno! I think just to validate it all you should do another run on a different dyno.

I really just brought it there to be sure it was running well, AF was OK, etc. We all were surprised to see the numbers that high. When the first run was 464HP, they checked everything to be sure all was calibrated properly...The second run with fans blowing (it was only 65 degrees that day) netted 477HP.
If I happen to go to an event that has a dyno or make any changes, I will get it done again...But I am not obsessed with making more HP (at this point!!) so I am done for now...
Maybe others know of the shop...They have a great rep for tuning cars in the area...They have some 900+HP cars they race (and just won some championships)...So they do know their stuff.
I agree though..Not all dynos are the same, etc. Good for baseline and making changes...I raced motorcycles (AMA pro lic) for 12 years...Know all about the dyno thing (at least on bikes). New to hipo cars though.

Sounds great! I will be there NEXT Friday...The 21st. I plan on being there @ 9:00 a.m. when they open. I have no idea how long they will need my car. Hopefully not too long since I have no car to get anywhere while they are working on it!
I want to get home by 7-8 p.m. so I will need to leave the shop by 4:00 or so.
Hopefully they only need my car for a couple of hours? We'll see.

I have a helmet cam...Just used it in this past weekends Hare Scramble...I will need to see how to mount it in the car...I have it set up to mount to my street and dirt helmets...
I am sure it will easily mount to the dash or something...

What's the PSI for the AA stage 2 SC?
zracer196
12-12-2007, 12:48 PM
9 lbs. I know that I see 9+ on the GAUGE. It is an AEM digital gauge that only shows in increments of 1. Sometimes it flashes 10 when I shift.
This was on a Mustang dyno as well.
It goes on AA's dyno next Friday to re-tune it. It is running a bit rich for some reason since I changed the plugs / coils. I had the dealer clear the adaptives as well.
We'll see what their dyno reads!

Ya I tunned on their dyno and they said I was running 9 lbs, But I have the same AEM digital boost gauge and it goes to 10 and even 11 lbs when I shift, lol but to be honest I hardly ever look at the gauge when I am running the car hard... To many other factors to look at lol.... Mark I def. will be seeing you next friday at AA, I am looking forward to that... Also I put in my Plasma coils and my AFR wasnt effect by it at all, They had to tune for my W/M injection it was making the car run a little to lean...
