How many fanatics who do not own SC will get one if prices drop to $4000 or less for the holidays?

Prediction:
40 people will say "yes," 7 people will actually purchase one.
Good luck though. ;)

Yeah, AA just dropped their prices by 2Gs already, I think asking for that much more off is kind of unreasonable.
ugh.. How much lower? And WTF was this thread last week. :tsk: LOL
I'd probably do it if it was a well know kit and not something cobbled together... Also depends on timing. Who has 4 g's laying around???

^I don't think such a present can be arranged by AA. C38 stage II will always be more expensive than C30 kit which is @ $4400 right now. That 's still the best bang for your buck performance wise.

How is the C30 kit a better bang for the buck? The charger is at its limit. There is no room for upgrading, it makes about 15 less horsepower, and it weighs more. The C30 and the C38 cost the same, or they did when I bought my kit.
Stage 2 C38 is looking like a smaller pulley, W/A injection, new software, and no intercooler. You can buy an intercooler and have a shop bend the piping for you if you really want it. I know I do, and will be intercooling after I dyno with stage 2.

Damned...$4000 for 300 rwhp and $5700 for 338rwhp? That seems like a pretty good deal to me?

Not to me and the majority of fanatics. Most other makes ( Japanese and American ) got turbos for those prices and SC for twice or more less. Also no need to ship ECU , less time to install , and more power.
To that guy asking for SC less than $4000 , think twice before buying BMW if not having one yet.
