Hello,

Wondering how to get to the air filter on my Gen 3 / Lvl 2 car? Also, it is the same process as cleaning a standard K&N filter?

you would have to remove the bumper and the driver side headlight to get an access, then just clean it with k&n filter cleaner. make sure not to put too much oil.

Found a how-to...Doesn't look too bad.

How many miles do you go? Mine has about 5K on it.

Yea the M3 bumper is the easiest of the e46's to remove... Unbolt the wheelwells, and just pull.

5k is nothing man, if it doesn't give u any problems don't clean it. maybe at 10k
