Hello all,

I have a 2002 325i with Mk III nav. My trunk has the nav CD unit and an empty space where a CD changer would go. I currently play my non-Ipod MP3 player through a cassette adapter, which is mechanically noisy (the cassette adapter makes a chattering sound). I'd prefer a direct aux (audio-only) connection from my MP3 player to the head unit. Is this possible, and if so, how would I do this? A DIY would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance to all, and happy Thanksgiving!

Just took my Icelink out of my car and it plugged into the radio tuner and CD changer connections. I had the MK III also, but you may need to ask if it can be used with the OEM cassette deck. I think th deck needs a mode button. Search and if interested, let me know.

The radio tuner would need to be upgraded to a MY03 unit in order to support AUX. Otherwise, the CD Changer port can be used for AUX:
