View Full Version : Aftermarket HU Installation?

Ok so basically i ordered all necessary harness, faceplate to install an aftermarket HU. What im not sure is if i can connect the integrated amp to the aftermarket HU (pioneer 5900IB) since on the instruction of the BW01B (wiring Harness) says: not for use on 'factory amplified' sound systems.

Can it be done without risk?

You'll be just fine.. Make sure to connect the blue/white wire coming off of the Pioneer to the blue wire in the new BMW harness.
