not unless you want your front wheels to disconnect themselves from the transmission :eeps:

Go for it, but you will need a helluva clutch.

xi's have a different torque converter than i's and won't allow for forced air compression...

I'm 99% sure AA boosted a 330xi about a year ago... I think I remember seeing it down at the shop, a light green one.

Our Vortech based stage 1 kit is compatible with the Xi and automatic models. We have dozens of installs in the US.

We are based in California with CARB approval pending and currently have a 20% sale expiring on Monday 26 Nov morning. All our E36 and E46 kits (except for E46M) are 20% off which makes them between $3600 and $4000 !

ESS TS1 is compatible with automatic transmissions. The TwinScrew works extremely well combined with automatic equipped cars as they give the M54B30 the bottom end torque required to get the off the line quickly.

will it cause any problem with the car, have you installed the TS1 on an xi before?

Yes, the Xi has been fully durability tested with the ESS TS1.

 Do I need an intercooler/ does it come with one?

TS1 is non-intercooled, the TS2 version is intercooled, but the TS2 auto version does not justify the extra cost IMO since the TS2 has to be tuned down to near TS1 power levels on a automatic. The only point to get a TS2 on a automatic is if you live in an extremely hot climate and would like less heatsoak on hot days.

The TS1 is also fully upgradeable to TS2 if you later on want to upgrade.

HEy ESS so once the TS1 goes in will i have to change anything to accommodate it? for example, manual people have to deal with their clutches etc but since i have an auto is their anything i should know. Right now, I am thinking the TS1 should go in w/o probs but i just want to be sure. Thanks
