Heading to the annual Turkey Rod run @ the Daytona Speedway this morning...My first little "run" since I bought the car (other than when I left my brother-in-laws 07' NA 911 for dead the night I bought it)...
He passed me (black 07' Z06) just cruising with traffic...I followed him for a while in traffic...No messing around. Also noticed he had an exhaust system, wheels, suspension, BIG brakes, etc. Not stock but no idea on the motor (until afterwards)...We had a NICE long 1 mile + break in traffic.
Started in 3rd at about 5K rpms...Fair start...He immediately pulled a car length+ on me...Then he steadily pulled on me until we (I) hit an indicated 150+ mph...I thought it "was going to be bad" at first since he jumped ahead quickly, but then he SLOWLY pulled on me...I would say at least 5 car lengths, but less than 10 at the end.
We got off the highway and spoke in traffic...He said he was impressed with how well my car did considering he had "more than 550 WHP"...I was pretty happy knowing that! He also said he wouldn't have wasted his time running me but saw my intercooler in his rear view mirror while I was following him. Bumming that I "lost" my first fun run...But at least it was to a FAST car...I tried to get a pic of his car (very nicely set up) at the next light, but didn't want to look like a geek after I lost!

BTW...My car dyno'd @ 477 WHP just last week...I posted that previously.
