What do you think of this? 340rwhp and 390ft lb rwhp, 13 sec flat quarter mile, myself i still think a TS2+ will beat it. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=119485

I think they might be a little faster than us. They have more torque. I saw a 335i do a 12.9 on street tires and my car did 13.5.

Even though I'm not too fond of the E90's (the E91 chassis ain't all that bad), 335's are no joke. I know my ZHP is bone stock but I still like to mess with people on the road and I had a small run against a 335i a few weeks ago while driving to work. I'm sure you can guess what the outcome of that was. I can just imagine what that car can do with the added spec.

If he is chipped, he will probably beat you. I am putting out appx. 380 crank hp, 315 ctq, weigh 3218 lbs and lost by .6 secs. Do have a 3.07 lsd though. 3.46 would have given me that .6 secs.

I raced my friends 335i Vinshu chipped and the outcome is as follows:
0-80mph with a good launch ( stock e46) I'll have the lead (1/2 car) but after 80mph is when he will pass me up. On the freeway he will walk for sure even though we haven't tried.
Not for long though. I will be getting a rematch once I get my car back from HPF to teach him a lesson. He has no idea what I have in stored. Going to park my car with the front facing a wall, hiding the intercooler.:rofl::rofl::rofl::banghead: <-- he won't know what hit him.

I've rode in his car and i can tell you it feels slow next to mine. But i will say this when those great company's like AA, ESS get done with that car it will push more hp than any supercharged bmw.

im really impressed with the power results they have on just software alone!!
as for ts2 against a modded turbo car. It gonna have to be.. like drenched in mods to beat the yerb0.

I see that Chris posted your dyno on the FI thread. Nice numbers. Do you know if the pump gas dyno was for California's 91 octane?

yeah if you look at the upper left, it shows results for stock, pump gass, and race gas. Pump gas is approx 430rwhp...which means at the engine is about almost 500hp on CA 91 octane pump gas. :)

Take a look at my mod list. All my mods are performance enhancing or weight reducing. I don't know what the 335's mods were (12.9x at 112.xx) but he was faster than me (13.5) and I have 330 rwhp (more than you), 265 rwtq (probably more than you) at 3218 lbs (probably less than you). He was also faster than a smg m3 (13.3), a manual m3 with intake, exhaust (13.5) and a m6 (13.1)(with an extra passenger). We were all first timers and I had a terrible time getting traction to the ground. The difference was small enough that a good driver could have come close to his time or beaten it, however, I would not be too confident that we (you included) will beat a modded 335i. While I don't like the design, they definitely have my respect as far as performance goes.

It's that 400lbs of tq that gets them moving!

They have a lot of torque. I believe it is almost 390lbft. Makes a big difference at lower speeds and at a drag race.

390lbft stock or modded, this other guy here has a coupe blk 335i and i must admit it looks nice, but what i mean is if he's stock he wont beat me.

I wouldn't under estimate a e46 fully modded.
A fully modded 335i at this point in time is about 350-360rwhp, (most I've seen or read about)
I've never raced a modded 335i yet but would love too, I think it would be close but its true the Tq is higher with them in that area.
They may have the same rwhp right now as a fully modded 330 e46 but the TQ takes it to a different level.
spartan give him a run for his money.

If I had not seen that guy's run, I would not have believed it. I was about 3 cars behind him and I only managed 14.3(first run ever). His 12.9x was his fastest run. After that he was running very low 13's. Torque makes all the difference in a drag race. By the way, I don't underestimate our cars power, I am TE STAGE 3 ASA, 260/268 FI cams, Headers, LSD etc.
