I bought these boots a half size too small. I used them exactly once this past weekend, and my feet were killing me and I had to go back to my old boots. There is literally no damage or wear/tear, and it might as well be new. I went down about 3 or 4 runs with them and it was just too cramped.

You can see pics on burton.com. This is the newest model of the boots; they just came out this year. Retail is $250 brand new

I still have the box, tags, everything. I just can't return the boots to the store because I took the tags off. Please someone take these off my hands; I need the money to buy new boots

Mike before you offload these things, you should give them another shot. Make sure the laces are super tight. I have the 06 Shaun Whites (basically same boot) and it took probably 2-3 days for the padding inside to back off. When I first rode them, my toes felt smothered by padding in the front, but as I rode them more the padding backed off and now they're comfy. Boots are just like shoes to a certain degree, they have to be broken in.

well let me give you my "boot history" and hopefully you can help me out, because i honestly dont wanna get rid of these. they were really hard to find and i know i wont be able to find them in 9.5 at this point of the season.

i bought my first set of equipment when i was a beginner about 6 years ago. at the time, i was inexperienced and i was one of those teens that wear their shoes too large so theyre easy to slip on. i didnt think that a good fit was so important for riding back then, so i bought my boots way too big (size 10.5)

i could literally feel the back of my foot rise out of my boot when i turned toeside.

i now realize my actual shoe size, which is 9.5. i bought 9s though, because in the store, it seemed just a little tighter, and my foot seemed to be locked in place tight when i leaned toeside. when i actually ride though, my toes are completely jammed into the front of my boot and it hurts like a motherf***er. should i have just bought 9.5 instead? or should i try to break it in like you say?

Are your toes at the front of the actual boot, or just rubbing against the padding? Also how tight do you make your boots? Do all of your toes touch or is it just the pinky toe, just the big toe, etc? I find that if my boots are too loose, my heel will start to lift and my pinky toe will rub against the front of the boot.

I have 10.5 burton freestyle boots and my heels come up a bit turning toe too ... its not a big deal ... and to get ur foot not to rub just tie the inner boot tighter

i wear a size 10 but upgraded to 10.5's this year - shrug we'll see

when im just standing in the boot, my toes are not up against anything. i can even curl my toes. when i lean toeside, my pinky and big toe jam into the front depending on the angle i lean at. it hurt like hell the rest of the day. keep in mind, i only tried the boots on for a day though.

i know for a fact that my actual shoe size is 9.5
i bought size 9 because im so scared of the back of my foot coming up while turning toeside when i ride, and at the store the 9's just felt a little more snug, but not uncomfortable.

ur heel coming up going toeside doesn't hurt ur turning ... lol its a problem if ur boot's so big that goign toe side ur boot doesnt move and ur foot just moves INSIDE ur boot

but boot 1/2 size smaller than regular is fine

the inside boot gets bigger as it molds to ur feet

this past weekend was my first time this season. i usually try to go two or three times a winter, but it's far as hell from nyc, especially when you work a 9 to 5. i didnt get home until 3 in the morning because i decided to ride on sunday. that snowstorm that hit on sunday ruined the roads from vermont all the way to 30 miles north of nyc. needless to say, i was dead tired all day on monday
