hi

i've bought recently a 320 coupe, from 2005 with a bmw oem business radio with the 6 cd charger in the trunk (european model)

my 2 questions,

1:does this car have a oem AUX input? and where can i find it? (there is a strange tube in the eurotray (with retractable cover) is that the AUX?

2: i have informed today at the local dealership about an oem ipod kit, they told me it was about 600 euro's (800 dollar ) for the install and they could not garantee that there was a kit available for my car.

what are my options? i would prefer using the 6cd changer (dice kit replaces it?isn't it??

The tube in the Eurotray is for holding a pen and not an AUX.
Even if they install you an original BMW ipod adapter you will loose your CD changer.

I just bought the dension ice link plus which does the same thing as the DICE with the ipod, control through steering wheel and display titles. Changing cds in the boot is sometimes too much hassle... I will stick with the ipod 4 now. and if you wanna go back to the cds you can easily plug the changer back in!

I am looking to install an adaptor for my wife's, lots of info on the DICE, but dension ice link website seems done...

What are the other options? My local radio shop said the radio may dictate the style of adaptor FM or direct.
