I think it's more of a reddish color, like on the M cars. It is the exact knob that the M cars come with. :str8pimpi

I ordered the 6 speed knob awhile back...it didn't have the silver ring on the bottom. Do I have the weighted knob?

Mine looks similar to the OEM knob with a ///M in the middle of a 6 sp pattern.

i just ordered a 6 speed, i hate the OE M3 shifter contraption. whoever thought a 1 piece knob and boot would be a good idea, should have been fired!

I think LeatherZ.com has leather, weighted, and illuminated - they modify these knobs to make them illuminated. They do appear to be quality products as well.
