Are the vents not made of carbon fiber? They look black in the picks, dunno if they're just painted over or whatever.

Nice hood though.

We are working on a version for preface sedans although we already have the m3 bulge hood for preface sedans (with preface hood lines).

These have an integrated washer grill at the rear of the hood which I love so no need for a separate washer grill. The cutouts for the windshield sprayers are there to retain that function.

So what kind of fender work is required to make these work on a pre-facelifted coupe? Is it DIY work or would i need to take it to a shop?

Wait... these CF GTR facelift sedan hoods you are selling SHOULD fit a prefacelift sedan... have you confirmed that they do not?

The Vorsteiner CF GTR hood that I have (see my sig pic) is for facelift sedan and it easily fit my prefacelift sedan with no problems whatsoever. I was even able to re-use my prefacelift sedan windshield washer grille piece on the Vorsteiner facelift sedan hood. I did have to buy facelift sedan kidney grilles since these are different size-wise than compared with the smaller prefacelift sedan kidney grilles. I also purchased M3 hood shocks as a precaution since those are designed for the lighter M3 hood versus my 323i hood shocks that were designed for the heavier 323i hood. :)

you can do it yourself, all you need is a dremel and u can basically install it doing the minor sanding here and there. i took pics of the parts i need to sand and make the holes a lil bigger if you need, i can email it to you. i have still have to do lil bit more touching up to make mines sit almost perfect just didn't have the time to lately.
