Hi guys, I'm new to the forum but not new to the FI scene. I have been doing plenty of searches for the following questions but I have not come across any definite answers. Judging from the available turbo kits I have been reading on here, I'm guessing FI for the e46 M3 is still a rather new territory...? Can anyone enlighten me on these items for the e46M3. Thanks in advance.
About how much rwhp can the stock motor handle? Any historic data? And what part is likely to go first...rings, rods, etc..?
I see people are getting kits to produce an average 450 rwhp. To me this is impressive for a stock motor at such a high compression. Are the pistons forged from the factory?
Assuming you're not doing crazy launches and hooking...
Any idea on how much power the stock manual 6-speed can handle?
And the rest of the drivetrain... rear end? u joint? half shaft? etc...?
Is the drive shaft 1 piece?
