HELP.. Car bogging. [Archive]

So I was out for a drive this morning and I was at a red light. I floored it to get infront of someone and my car kinda bogged around 20 then the power came back. Then it did it agian in 2nd. My check engine light flashes for about ten seconds and goes off. I thought it was a leak at first or a slipping belt. But everything looks fine from what I can tell.

Any Ideas.

Not sure what it could be...but if your engine light flashed I think it would have generated a code. You should check for codes.

Yeah thats what im gonna do tomorrow. I don't have a code reader so I have to take it to a shop.

Yeah and it did it today on the way to work. The check engine light stayed on this time.

I found the problem. One of my coils were bad. It was starting to melt lol.
