ESS used to make the TM-12 ASA kits and now they make the TS twinscrew kits becasue it makes more/ earlier torque and power.
go with the ESS TS kit.
you can buy one

your alpina should be a m52 engine. very similar to a US m3 s52. the dme should be the same as any m52 or s52 and i would say absjorn@esstuning should have no problem tuning them.

The Alpina B3 3.3 uses the S52 engine basis with more volume, different intake manifold and cams. The engine control system is Siemens MS43, same as 330i E46.
The ESS TS kit will physically fit on the car, but requires custom tuning. We can do this, but only at our Norwegian HQ. If you are interested you can schedule an installation in Norway with custom tuning (6-7 hours driving from Hamburg).

It's asbjorn@esstuning.com
Custom tuning and software programming is billed by the hour (USD110/h). It is hard to say exactly how many hours of custom labor on this car, but I would think aprox. 50 including installation of the kit.

you can always source out a ASA kit and DIY with a piggyback.
but I think its nice you have a viable option for your unheard of in the US alpina b3.
a twin screw with optimized tuning and no piggyback on your 3.3 would be spectacular and one-of-a-kind(like de_crazy _ brit max nathan that bo0sts 14psi somewhere round ur area) . im positive ESS will squeeze out alot more power from that .3 and extra goodies it comes with.

It is much better to go with someone who can tune the kit. If ESS says they can, I think it is well worth the money to have them install it and tune it. The car will be a beast.
