To make big power often requires upgrading the factory connecting rods. We knew our stage 3 and 4 turbo systems would be pushing the factory rods so we decided to upgrade each stage 3 and 4 customer with rods that are capable of handling upwards of 1200rwhp. We're dialing in our stage 3 turbo kits at around 800rwhp so these rods will be more than capable of handling those demands.

Here are some pictures of our new rods, and these rods compared to the factory ones. The factory rods weighed in at 1lb 6.1oz, while our rods weighed in at 1lb 4.6oz for a per rod weight savings of 1.5oz.

Take care,
Chris.

Nice pictures. What happened to that one crank journal? It looks like the bearing spun.

I haven't forgot about the air box.

Thanks. They aren't cheap, but are worth every penny.

That rod came out of a used motor we bought. I believe all of the rods had some residual discoloration on them.

We selected a very reputable manufacturer for our rods. They definitely came out nice.

Take care,
Chris.
