Who's got the quickest auto?

I know, I know, an auto is inferior when it comes to power, but I'm not here to argue that. I'm here to simply ask, who has the fastest auto?

Numbers would be great, hp, torque, 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile time, any of that helps. I know the power and everything is limited, but there's got to be an auto out there putting up some nice numbers.

Would a s/c and a 3.91 diff work at all?

I ask all this because if I can get my college paid for I'll treat myself to an M3, but that's not likely. What's more likely is I'll end up throwing some money into my 330, and I want to be able to hold up on a drag, but still kill on the twisties.

No one will be seeing very good numbers without a built auto tranny. do a search and PM people with level 10 transmissions.

stay away from level 10, they did my firebird which im very happy with , but for imports go with ipt http://www.ipttrans.com/index.shtml

Are the ipt transmissions reliable? Anyone have them installed? What kind of power do they hold, etc. I want to hear a first hand opinion from a fanatic.

Only if IPT transmission is cheaper, I would take the risk. It's just too much as of now.

But, not sure if by modifying the torque converter would increase more tolerance of stress to be able to hold more HP and torque. On the IPT website, it says only a bit over 600 bucks to modify the torque converter. Not bad!

I put down 284,2(HP)@6300; 244,6(ft-lbs)@5450. That's with aa c-38 stg1.
No clue how quick it actually is. I'll get the times within few months.

I love my auto, but hope to get more HP and still keep my auto the way it is ^_^
