Hello, I'm looking for a reasonably priced, used set of tires for my stock M3 wheels. Trying to sort out a noise in the rear differential that the dealership is trying to blame on my aftermarket wheels/tires.
Stock tire sizes are 225/40-19 front and 255/35-19 rear. Front doesn't matter but I would like the rears to be the correct size. Tread depth isn't an issue. Thanks.
ContiSportContact3 on ebay, size 255 35 19 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120221870090&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=002)

How 'bout a virtually new set of Michelin PS-2's for the front (1000 miles)? They are NOT stock sized. What it will do for you is to dial out some of your understeer. They're $270/ea plus S&H. Tire sizes are 245/35-19.
Let me know. They're available right now: balchunas@mindspring.com

Thanks Bruce, but I already have brand new 245's on the front and 275's rear. I just have a weird periodic noise coming from the rear diff and the dealership is trying to blame it on my non-stock wheels and what they call "oversized" tires. I want to put my stock wheels back on for a day just to prove them wrong. I'm sure it will still make the noise. Just looking for a cheapo set of tires to throw on there, as my stocks have no tires on them anymore.
Anyone else have a cheap used set, let me know. They're only going on for a day or two so not looking to spend a lot. Thanks.
